Well this week was a crazy one for sure! It was also an extremely hot one, like always!! My comp and I contacted a whole bunch this week, and explored a bunch of areas we have never been to.  But we didn't have a whole bunch of lessons, and we were kind of frustrated that no one was excepting us.  But my comp told me not to lose my faith, because without faith we are not going to find anyone at all! So then we were walking and we passed by this one kid, and he said "Hi elders."  We asked him how he knew us.  He said the missionaries talked to his family a while ago.  So last night we went by this house.  They were all so accepting and loving. The lady said that her son was visiting today, and he normally isn't there, and he is a member. So we talked with her son, and he is actually a returned missionary.  His family has always been interested in the church, but they moved and lost contact with the church and the missionaries in the area! So when we found them they were so excited.  She has been reading the Book of Mormon, and their whole family is so excited.  It was just such a blessing to find them!!
But things with my comp are great, we get along so well.  He has so much time in the mission, and because of that I am learning so much from him.  Things like how to intruduce certain commandments, and how to motivate  people to go to church! He is super chill and funny!!
Bryson sent me as picture of what happened to the garage. And dad in the Captain America costume. Haha kinda funny I think!!  But I'm so happy to hear you guys are doing so well, I pray every night that you guys will recieve blessings, and I love you guys a whole bunch!!

So this has been an absolutely crazy and great week! My trainer got transferred this last week, and I got a new companion! He is from argentina and he is super dope!!  He has like 21 months in the mission, and I have learned so much from him! The very first day I was scared because I had to be the lead in my area, and show him where all the people live. But all of the appointments fell through, and I didn't know where to go.  So we were kinda walking and I felt an impression to go to this one investigators house. (It was this one guy who hasn't been progressing at all) but we went there anyways. And of course, he wasn't there.... but my comp said let's just contact the house next door.  So, we knocked, and we found this one guy and he said that his brother is a returned missionary but he has never attended.  So we set up a day to come back.  When we went back his whole family was there, and he invited all of them to listen to us.  He told us that his brother has the kind of life that he wants, that he has something special. We then taught him a little, and he said he really wants to pray and he feels something different when we are at his house!  It's just super great, and we found him by the spriit!!
Everything is going good here, it's still really hot, but I think I am getting a little more used to it! Hahaha I played with a monkey at this one persons house!  We also found another great family this week, and they attended church and we are way excited to keep teaching them! but everything is going good here.  Thank you so much for your prayers and support, I know that I am recieving support from a greater power than my own! I'm glad to hear you guys are doing so good! love you guys lots!

This week has been a great one for sure! We had the great oppurtunity to baptize our contact who is really old, that I was telling you about.  He asked me if I would baptize him.  So it was a really great experience.  But it was a path full of miracles to get him there... On Wednesday we had his interview, with our district leader.  The problem was that our district leader had lost his phone. So Wednesday morning he called us and said to meet at the church in his area at 4:30.  At about four we went to the house of Lorenzo to get him for his interview, but he wasn't there.  His wife said that he said he had an interview and left... That was a problem because, it was at a different church, and we knew that he didnt know where it was, so we couldn't find him anywhere.  We didn't know what to do, and we were just waiting around. So we said a prayer and continued looking for him. Then this one kid who lives by him came up to us, and we asked him if he had seen Lorenzo. He siad no, but he knows he's going to come here... We were kind of surprised, because how could he know if he didn't talk to him.  But we decided just to wait a little.  Then like 10 seconds later he came around the corner.  We asked where he was, and he said that he was looking for us.. But now it was after 4:30 and we couldn't call the other missionaries to tell them we were going to be late..  but we still left for the church and we got there at like 5:40.  No one was there... and we had no way to contact them.  So we waited for a little and still nothing.  So we decided to go back home, but I forgot my wallet and had no money to get home. So then we had an idea to take a taxi straight home and pay when we got there. But every single taxi told us they wouldn't take us to our area.  Then some people passed by and said "Hi elders, what are you doing?" and we said "Waiting for Elder Peña."  They said "Good luck." and drove off. Then we waited for another 20 minutes, and still nothing.  Then a car pulled up, and out came Elder Pena and Elder Peck. They told us that the people who saw us told them we were waiting there. So we were able to have the interview, and every thing went good. And Lorenzo was finally baptized!  Everything is going good here.  Transfers are this week, and it's crazy to think that I finish my training, and I have over four months!! love you!!

This week has been a good one, but also a really difficult one. It seems no matter how close we get people to getting baptized something, or someone has to delay it. The guy who was really old and was supposed to be baptized, and we talked to his wife about it. But, when we brought the note thing for her to sign to authorize his baptism she says she doesn't know now, and wants to him to know more about the church before he is baptized.. kinda frustrating. We finally prepared him enough that he was ready, and its tough to have this trial now. Last night though, we found these two people by solely following the spirit, and they are amazing.  I believe they will be baptized soon! They were so great!!

The man who has the 14 year old son, couldn't make it to church this week because of money problems and his job, which he might lose.  It's sad because they are really really poor... But the son came by himself and he loves it!  He really wants a white shirt so he can be like the other kids at church, but he doesn't have money. His birthday is tomorrow and I think I'm going to go by him a white shirt, because they are really cheap here, and we have an appointment with them tomorrow!!

It is still extremely hot here, and its just getting hotter and hotter! What I would do to have that snow right now! Hah, this one lady was asking me if it snowed in Utah.  I said "Yes it does, a lot." And she said her dream is to eat snow with milk...Haha

It does rain a ton here.  This morning most of the roads were closed because it rained so badly on Saturday and last night.  It took us over an hour to get to the place that we write! It's crazy here how things are so un- organized.  But it makes me appreciate everything so much more! Thanks for everything. Love you a lot!

Monday, November 17, 2014

Well this week has just been a great week here in the mission! Right after I got done emailing you last week, my zone leaders gave me your package. I wanna say thank you so much for sending that! I really needed it. I'm sorry for how much in cost!  But thank you so much for everything! And Elder Peck says thanks for the blueberry mix, cause we made some amazing pancakes, and they were the best things ever!!!  Elder Peck is the one from kamas, and we have the same time in the mission. So this week the district leader wanted to go on a change with my comp for a day, so I went with his companion, who happens to be Elder Peck.  At first we were both nervous cause of our Spanish, and that two white boys in a dangerous area might get robbed. (Even though he is huge) It was in my area, so I was nervous to have to lead my area. But we started going, and had a good first lesson.  Then we went to this guy who I haven't visited before.  And we had a lesson with a man, and his son.  It was an amazing lesson, and they want to be baptised so badly. Then when they went to church, after the final class, the man asked if he could have one of the blessings that they talked about in Elders Quorum, a blessing of health, because he has been sick.  So we explained it all then gave him a blessing.  Then he started crying so much. I really have never felt the spirit more strongly at any other time on my mission. He then told us how his wife left him, and it's just him and his 14 year old son. His son is getting into drugs, and the day before he met us he said he prayed that he could somehow help his son. Then the next day while he was sitting in his hammock listening to music, two people in white shirts asked if they could come back another day and share a message with him!! Then we found a less active family that hadn't been for like 6 years.  They have a daughter and son that aren't baptized.  So we have been teaching them too.  They are progressing really well! It's amazing the little miricles that we have everyday! I know this work is true, and I know that God prepares people! And then guides us to them! Thanks again for everything, Tell everyone thanks for their prayers.  People were right... "Obedience brings blessings, but exact obedience brings miracles."  Because I have never been so obedient in my life, and every day we have miracles! Love you.  Love Jacob

This has been an extremely hot week here in bolivia! and an extremely humid week! I would do anything to have some nice snow, and not have my shirt soaking wet in my own sweat! Haha
Those baptisms that we were suppose to have; we put them off some more because we don't feel like they are completely prepared! I hate having to put them off, but when its salvation on the line, you gotta be ready! Haha So, that old man I told you about, has had a problem with his arm for like the past year. We told him about the priesthood, and how it could heal people. He asked if we could heal him, and if he could have a blessing for his arm.  We gave him a blessing, after explaining that it would only heal based on the faith that he has! Well, when we went back it had regained a lot of its strength, yesterday he could move a lot of it! It's amazing the power of faith and the priesthood!  The spirit was so strong there.  Now he is sharing with everyone about that miricle!
We had a zone conference this week also, and the president is just the most amazing person I have met.  He really is a servant of the lord!  He always knows what to say, and he is just great!! Well, everything is going good here, love you!!

Monday, November 3, 2014

Things are going great here, we are busy as can be, like always.   If everything goes as planned we should have two baptisms this week, which should be great!!  One guy is kind of old, but he loves the church so much. He loves going there, and he loves the people!  His prayers are really simple.  I always loves when he prays, because he always says thank you for the elders his best friends, and thank you for the church! Since we met him, about four weeks ago, he has attended every week.  We really hope that he can have his baptism this week!
The guy who wanted to take the sacrament did come to church, and he said he really, really liked it.  He just needs to pray, and receive an answer!
The rainy season has official started.  It has been raining almost everyday.  Which is good, because it's a lot more cooler!  But we were talking to this one priest at church, and he said at about the end of december we are gonna need boats to get around.. Haha I guess it just rains a whole bunch, and non stop!
This morning there was a moth in our house, and it was probably the size of both of my hands put together!! Biggest thing ever!! We spent like the whole morning trying to get it out.  It was like a bird, and wouldn't leave!!
everything is going good here.  Thanks for everything, love you!!

Monday October 27, 2014

Things are going great here in the mission! Other than the heat... I'm dying here.  But it is just starting the rainy season.  So it has started raining almost every day.. Which I dont mind it while it is raining, because it cools me down, and feels really nice.  But after the rain it is the absolute worst thing ever!  Everything becomes so muddy because it is like all dirt roads.   Then the humidity hits.. and it is so hot, and i cant do anything with out drippping in sweat! It's awful.

But our investigators are progressing really well, we should for sure have a baptism this next Saturday.  And maybe even more the Saturday after that!  The couple that was supposed to get married moved in with their mom, and ore no longer in our area.  Which is really sad because they were progressing really well.  But it's okay because we found three new investigators that day.  And the missionaries in that area will be recieving some great people!

My district leader got transferred this last week, and now he is a zone in leader in a different area.  I'm really sad, because he was way cool, and he helped me out a lot!  But  it's ok, because we got some more awesome people in our zone this transfer!

We are going to go play wally ball for p-day today. So I'm pretty excited about that. It's a lot easier than soccer and bowling! Haha.   We taught a bunch of people this week with members present, and it was awesome.  Every member we asked to come with us did.  The lessons are so much better with a member! They make huge sacrifices to come.  I know that the Lord will bless them for doing missionary work!

My companion is a great guy.  His whole family is members, he was born in the church, him and his older sister. He gradutated from college, and he is 25, He wasn't going to go on a mission but then he decided to.  He's been out for 10 months, and this is his second area.  His first was the part of Brazil, and he had to learn Portuguese, so he speaks that fluently.  We are slowly working on his English, and its getting better everyday.

Everything is going good here, thanks for everything, love you guys!

Monday October 20, 2014

Things are going great here in Bolivia! My Spanish is actually coming along really well, not as well as I hoped, because I just wanna be fluent right now.  But it is really teaching me a lot about patience... haha.  We didn't have the baptisms.  We were preparing a couple to get married first because they were living together, but they  got in an arguement, and put off their wedding, and are still living together.  So we have to wait for them to get married. Also our other golden investigator is having a hard time with one of the commitments.  So we decided to give him more time, till he is ready. It was a hard decision to put it off, but we wanna make sure that all of them are ready before we have them make their first covenant with God!
It has just been getting hotter and hotter ever day, and it is killing me!!   But i guess it cools down a little after December, so I just have to endure it till then! It's crazy that this week finishes up my first transfer!  It seriously feels like yesterday that I left!  Time really does fly out here!

I'm so glad to hear that everyone is doing so well at home.  All day Wednesday I was thinking about Bear, and how much I miss him! Haha so we found two families this last week.  One of them Friday, and one last night. They are both amazing, and we had great lessons with them.  We just need to get them to church this next week!  That's our biggest struggle here, is getting people to come to church.  Because no one wants to take the bus for 50 minutes... But trust in the Lord and he can change their hearts! }
Im so glad to hear that you guys are working so hard.  Because you are doing the exact same thing that I am doing.... Haha it's tough walking everywhere every day, and I would do anything for a car.  But it makes me appreciate everything so much more!
love ya! love Elder Beals

Monday October 13, 2014

This week has been kinda slow to be honest.  Other than fireworks every second, election day was pretty boring. Except I had to stay the night at another set of elders house.  It was so nice to finally speak English!! Hahaha One of the elders is from Alpine, and he has been out for about a year now.  He was way cool, and it was sweet to just sit back and tell stories about Utah!  I got some amazing studying done because we had all day to study!!! Hahaha I found this scripture in helaman 12:14 that has really made me think.
The one problem with Bolivia, is that the Chips Ahoys do not taste the same!!!  I bought a whole bunch and I was so excited to eat them, but they taste different.. Haha I will adjust hopefully in these next two years.  But I'm expecting a big glass of milk, and a whole package of Chips Ahoys at the airport in 21 months!! Isn't it crazy to think that's all the time I have left?.. It still feels like yesterday we were sitting at home in the front room with dad making fun of De Leon for something, and Bryson telling us his new way that he is going to become rich!!  Love you!! Thanks for everything!

Monday October 6, 2014

Let's just say that this week was like Christmas for me!  Conference was absolutley amazing, and the talks were so inspiring. They make me wanna be a better person!  When I walked into the first session Saturday morning my zone leader gave me a package!! It was the one you sent, and it was so great to have conference with candy, and in english! It felt like I was back home!
It is elecion week here, next Sunday they vote for a new president.. So things are getting a little crazy here! Don't worry, I'm not saying anything about politics.  When people bring it up I quickly change the subject. I mean I couldn't really talk politics if I wanted, because my vocabulary is not broad enough for that!
I saw a tucan this week, adding that to another more of the sweet animals I've seen here!  I have seen more stuff in these last four weeks than I think I saw all last year!
Our investigators are slowly progressing.  We teach a lot of people a day, and we can get everyone to agree to our commitments, but they have a hard time keeping their commitments... We just have to trust in the Lord and His timing!  It was so great that we got this one guy to come with us to the second session of conference on Sunday.  Thats was where Bednar gave his amazing talk, especially for investigators!!  It was just great!!  But everything is going good here, Thanks for the package!! love ya!

Monday September 29, 2014

Let's just say that the bolivia life is crazy!  There was a lizard that I'm pretty sure was at least two feet long in our house, along with like 3 other smaller ones!  Then we were teaching a lesson, and a huge tarantula came and walked like 2 feet from me!  It was like the size of my hand!  A major heat wave came in this week.  It has been even hotter than it was when I first got here.  I didn't know that was possible!  At the end of the day I could take off my shirt and sqeeze like a gallon of sweat out... gross!  I saw a monkey for the first time, so that was pretty sweet!  It was small and crazy.  I wanted to catch it and take it home!
Our shower has these like sketchy wires that go to the shower head that are suppose to heat the shower, which it doesn't really heat it. It just makes it so its not freezing cold.  Well, they sparked and stopped working this week.  So good thing dad taught me how to strip and rewire.  Because that's what I spent my morning doing!  For breakfast I make myself a fruit shake, and it's the best!  I can't wait till the mangos in our front yard from our tree are ready, so I can make a mango shake!
Investigators are going great.  We have three people we should baptize this next Saturday.  I have yet to teach a lesson where someone hasn't said something about how tall I am!  I'm a giant here. It's a good thing I played so much fifa before I came.  Because that is a great way to start a convo with someone!  The mission is going great, thanks for everything, love you!

Monday September 22, 2014

This week has been kinda diffucult, and crazy at the same time! People were right when they said the time would fly by because I can barely remember what happened! On thursday it rained like all day, so that Mr Mac jacket you got me; I took out the inside layer, and the outside layer works like a champ! But, because it rained so much, the streets turn into rivers!  All the water just goes into the middle, and you have to fight your way through a foot of water to walk... Our front yard was just a big mess!  But, we had some of the best lessons in that day, so I can't complain!
My comp is great! We're still getting along well!

I don't think it's that hard to sleep at night, because I'm so tired.  As soon as my head hits the pillow I am out! I know that I fall asleep so fast because we have been working hard that day! Or because we just played a lot of soccer...  we do that a ton down here!!  Every chance we get, we play!  The people love to play with us, and my comp loves playing!  The only problem is I'm always starving afterwards, and we never have dinner!!! I wish I could just order some Taco Bell.  Hahaha.  But I guess they don't have it down here!

It's really hard seeing the dogs here... I feel so bad for them!

I"m so happy for Brandon and Tyler.  That is so absolutely amazing.  They are going to kill it out in the field!! Tell them im proud of them! Thanks for everything. Love you!!!

Monday September15, 2014

Wow, Bolivia is absolutely crazy!!! This has been a humbling week! My first area is called Suarez, my comp is from La Paz Bolivia. He is sweet! We get along really well. Well, at least I think we do. He doesnt speak English, so I can't really tell. But he is a really nice guy, and a great missionary! He's been out for nine months! Our house is pretty beat up, and kinda ghetto... but that's what I expected! Our ward is huge.  It's a 40 minute bus ride to get to our church.  It is so hot here!!!  I have never sweated so much in my life!  Every second I'm wiping off gallons of sweat!  There are tons of dogs here, and cats and pretty much every animal!  The streets always have tons of horses cows, chickens, and other animals in them...it's crazy!  There are lots of lizards here also!  All the time while we are studying we will see one run across the floor or something!  But there are also tons of bugs! Which is gross!  The food isn't that bad.  We have this one member feed us lunch everyday, and it's pretty normal.  It's just so much rice.  It's hard to finish it all!  I did eat cow tongue and utter my first day. And it wasn't that bad... Tell jeff happy birthday yesterday.  The big 17!!   It's tough walking all day cause its so hot. And teaching lessons you are practically dead!  But we have already committed 5 people to baptism which is great!  Even though I could barely follow the lesson cause it was all in spanish... The people are so nice!  They have nothing but they will still do anything for us!  They love the missionaries so much, it's great!!!  My package never came mom, and I'm really sad about that... but I can buy almost everything here.  Thanks for everything, love you guys!

Friday September 5, 2014

HELLO Mother!! Things are great here!! My companion follows me everywhere, and does everything I do!! He's like a little buddy! When I get pink soda so does he, and when I say I only want water so does he!!  But he sure talks fast!

Proselyting was a lot different with a latino comp!  I barely talked at all.  I could understand most of it, but he just talked the whole time I didn't really get a chance! We got to go to the temple twice this week. On Wednesday, and today! It was sad thinking I might not be able to for two more years. So I took a really long time in the Celestial room, and I just felt so grateful for everything I have been given!!  I'm so happy I was raised in the church.  Thank you so much mom for teaching me about the gospel!  I am almost done with the Book of Mormon, and it is so good!!  The first time I read it, I just sped read it, but this time I'm learning so many great things, and I have a hard time putting it down!!

Thanks for everything mom and dad, I love you guys, and I'm so excited to leave the MTC in three days!! Love ya again!

Wednesday August 27, 2014

Hey mom!!! This week has been the best week by far!!! Since I emailed you we have been to the temple twice. We got to have lunch there, and it was so good!! Proselyting was way fun and humbling! It was really hard to talk to people, but as soon as we got going, it went great! We had 11 referrals. This one lady said she was waiting for something like this in her life. So we committed her to baptism, and contacted the Elders in that area. They've already begun teaching her!

Yesterday was the absolute best!  After the temple we took a tour.  We went up this mountain and got to look over all of Bogota. It is huge!!! Then we went to an Inca gold museum. That was sweet! The city is crazy.  Everyone stares at the 16 white kids walking down the street. They say all kinds of stuff to us!   After that we went and bought some jerseys.  They're sweet!  The "CREW" of my seven favorite Elders all got James jerseys. They're the sickest things! I also go a Colombia National Team jersey! When we got back we watched Ephraim's Rescue.  It was just the perfect way to end the amazing day!

We changed rooms again, and the kid with the full ride to be a BYU QB left. But I got a pic with him. Just in case he is famous one day! My new room is the biggest one here.  We have 16 elders in there!  I get my new companion tonight.  He is from Peru.  He will get here at like Midnight!  Everything is going great here.  Spanish is so easy now.  I'm so excited to get to Bolivia!

The floor looks amazing. Tell dad that he did amazing, Tell Brandon and Tyler I'm proud of them, and I miss them! Love you guys! Hasta luego!

August 19, 2014

Hey mom and dad!!! They let us get on tuesday, because only half of the missionaries that were suppose to come did, and now it feels kinda empty here! We have basically been doing the same thing everyday, except the rest of this week should be amazing! The temple finally opened back up.  So we get to go tomorrow and Friday. We get to go proselyting Thursday!  They said they're going to take us in the city, drop us off, and say "Be back in four hours.  Get as many referrals as you can."   I'm so excited for that!  I freaking love volleyball so much since I've been here.  One of the kids in my district, the one I sent you a picture of where we are holding the flag, he played for BYU Idaho.  He is way good.  Whenever we get on a team together we destroy!  He is a way cool kid!  Well, we got new rooms, and one of the kids in my new room is way cool.  He is from Cache Valley.  He has a full ride scholarship to BYU to be the QB when he gets back.  He is the most humble, and athletic kid!!  He's way funny too.  At night we just make way funny jokes back to each other!  Everyday my Spanish just gets better and better.  I'm saying just send my to Bolivia right now!   But I do love it here in Colombia.  It's like a constant 60 degrees, and it just feels great!  I was wondering mom, if you could send me some pictures you have of like the family, or pics you have of me and my friends.  Just to have something to look at!  Love you guys so much.  I keep you in my prayers everyday that you will be blessed! August 12, 2014

I'm doing amazing!! These past couple of days have flown by.  It is just class after class.  But I like it, because then I stay busy!  Today was the most amazing though.  because they normally take us to the temple every other friday.  But it is closed for one more week.  So they just opened the front gates and gave us a Book of Mormon, and said "be back in an hour!!!"  It was the greatest thing to go out and teach actual people!  I want to just go straight to Bolivia now!  My companion and I got three referrals.  And one of the guys seemed so intrested, and really cared about what we were saying, even if it was broken Spanish!  But the food here is great,  Even though we have rice about every meal, but I'm getting real used to that!  People are just so nice!  My favorite days are Sundays, because we just watch old conference talks, and theyre all in ENGLISH!!!!!! it's like a huge relief to actually understand everything! It's crazy how every night I just feel so happy, even though its so tough, and I'm 5000 miles away from my old life!  We just got our district spilt up today, and we got moved into a new room.  I don't like it that much, because it is smaller, and I'm not with any of my friends from my first room. Except my companion.  But that's how mission life is... once you get comfortable with one thing, it's gonna get changed!  But when we memorize scriptures we get choclate bars, and in the bars, there is a sticker, and they are just random things, like animals, or planets, or bugs, and they are like a currency here, people will give me anything for a sticker, and they trade them, I have like 12 of them, and people give me all the candy they have for one, I am like the king of stickers!  But I love it here.  Tell bear I miss him, and I'll see him in 701 days! Love every one, and I'll try to send some pics!

They let us email a day earlier, because they have stuff for us to do tomorrow.  I love it here!! We got to go to the temple last friday.  It was an amazing experience, even though it was in spanish, and I barely understood anything.  The traffic here is crazy.  Everyone just drives wherever they want, but no one crashes... Hahaha spanish is so hard.  But it is coming along great. I mean how could it not. We wake up at 6:30, and have classes till 10:30 every day. And every one of them is in spanish... My companion is a kid from the Sacramento, California area. He has really humbled me, and makes me work super hard. I love my district. They are the funniest and most coolest kids ever. One is from portland, three are from Cali, three from utah, including me, and one from Idaho! The kid from Idaho is Elder Peterson.  He is so funny, and always makes me enjoy class. The kids from utah, Elder Sperry, and Elder Strong are awesome! Elder Strong is from Syracuse, and he reminds me of Brandon Deleon! He likes the same stuff as me, we relate to the same things, and we get along so well! He has made the CCM so freaking fun, We just do everything together!  Everything here is dirt cheap, I'm going to get some cool stuff.  Love you guys, thank you for everything.  Love you so much, and tell Jeff, Bryce, and Aubrey I love them!
love Elder Beals!
PS. Sorry for all the grammar errors, Spanish keyboard, so its hard to type!! Love ya lots!

July 30, 2014

Yesterday was crazy. Our flight in salt lake was delayed, but because we only had a 30 minute layover we missed the flight to Bogota. So they reassigned our flight and we didn't leave till midnight.  So we were at the airport for like seven hours.  I enjoyed the other flight, because I got a seat by the front.  So I had a lot of leg room. We didn't get to the CCM till six-thirty this morning. Then we had class start at 7... so I have not slept for so long.  No one here speaks English.  It is so hard to understand anyone.  I just nod my head and act like I know what they are saying... I met up with Brady as soon as I got here.  There are barely any elders here.  So Brady has helped me a lot on telling me where to go. But in the airport we shook Thurl Bailey's hand.  In Houston we met the Colombia National track and field team.  They were on the same flight as us.  Everything is going well.  I feel a little sick in my stomach.  Hopefully it will pass soon, and I don't throw up everywhere.  Love you.
